The APOLLON infrastructure has benefited from two Contrats plan État-Région (CPER) between the French State and the Région Île de France: the firt one covering the period from 2007 to 2013 and the second one from 2015 to 2020. Their significant financial participation have greatly contributed the infrastructure’s construction: both for the premises and the laser device itself. In addition of the Ministère de l’enseignement supérieur, de la recherche et de l’Innovation, and the Région Île de France, the CNRS, the CEA and the département de l’Essonne also contibuted to this project.

CPER 2007-2013

CPER 2007-2013 is a part of the projet ILE-APOLLON project, wich mutualises the efforts of six laboratories from the Plateau de Saclay for the APOLLON infrastructure’s design. In addition, the Région Île de France has raised an European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) to complete the financial contribution for the laser’s development.
